These terms govern membership of the Dare to Speak Community. They form a contract between you and Eve Stanway Coaching and Consulting Ltd. Please read them with the Community Guidelines and Community Privacy Policy before joining.
1. About us
The Dare to Speak Community is provided by Eve Stanway Coaching and Consulting Ltd, registered in England and Wales under company number 15902522. Our registered office is International House, 64 Nile Street, London, United Kingdom, N1 7SR. Our website is https://evestanway.co.uk.
2. Accepting these terms
You accept these terms when you tick the agreement box at checkout and complete your purchase. By joining, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these Membership Terms, the Community Guidelines and the Community Privacy Policy.
You must be aged 18 or over and legally able to enter into a contract.
3. What the membership provides
Membership may include:
- access to the private Dare to Speak online community;
- Eve’s active presence in the community at least three times each week, subject to planned leave, illness and exceptional circumstances;
- fortnightly Live Answers Hour sessions;
- weekly written questions and answers;
- monthly teaching sessions;
- recordings of community live sessions;
- expert contributions and a growing resource library;
- access to Navigating with Heart: How to Tell Your Children About Separation and Divorce;
- access to the six-week Conversations at the Shoreline course; and
- community prizes and referral rewards where the stated conditions are met.
We may make reasonable changes to the timetable, format, contributors or resources. We will tell members in advance where a material change affects the core membership.
Planned leave and temporary changes to live sessions or response times will be communicated inside the community. Existing courses, recordings and resources will remain available during planned leave, subject to platform availability.
4. Nature and limits of the service
The community provides coaching, education, information and peer support. It is not psychotherapy, counselling, legal advice, financial advice, medical care, crisis care, safeguarding provision or an emergency service.
Information shared by Eve, guest contributors or other members is general. You remain responsible for your decisions, actions and for obtaining advice from appropriately qualified professionals. No particular personal, relationship, legal, financial or emotional outcome is promised.
The community is not monitored continuously. If you or another person may be in immediate danger, contact the emergency services or an appropriate local crisis service.
5. Membership plans and payment
Prices are shown at checkout and include VAT where stated. The current standard options are £50 per month, £270 for six months and £480 annually. The annual plan includes one private 60-minute coaching session, to be arranged subject to availability and used during the relevant annual membership period.
Eligible founding members may join for £35 per month, including VAT. The founding rate remains available while that membership continues without interruption. If a founding membership ends and the person later rejoins, the price then available will apply.
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Unless checkout states otherwise, memberships renew automatically at the chosen interval until cancelled. You authorise Stripe to take recurring payments using your selected payment method.
If a payment fails, we may retry it, ask you to update your payment method, restrict access or end the membership. You remain responsible for sums properly due before cancellation.
6. Cancellation, cooling-off rights and refunds
Monthly membership
You may cancel at any time. Cancellation stops the next renewal, and access continues until the end of the paid monthly period. Monthly payments are otherwise non-refundable, except where the law requires a refund.
Six-month and annual membership
You may cancel renewal at any time. Access continues until the end of the paid term. Six-month and annual payments are non-refundable after the statutory cancellation period, except where the law requires otherwise.
Statutory rights and immediate access
Nothing in these terms removes your statutory consumer rights. When you join online, the law may give you a 14-day cancellation period. You ask us to begin supplying the membership service and digital course access immediately.
At checkout, you may be asked to give express consent to immediate digital access and to acknowledge how this affects your cancellation rights. If you cancel during a statutory cancellation period, we will apply the law governing services and digital content, including any permitted proportionate deduction for services already supplied. Your community and course access will end when the cancellation takes effect.
To cancel, use the cancellation facility in your account or email [email protected].
7. Course and community access
Courses, recordings and resources are licensed to you for personal use while your paid membership is active. Access ends when the paid membership period ends. You may not download, reproduce, republish, sell, teach from or share community content unless we have expressly allowed it in writing.
Access may occasionally be interrupted by maintenance, security work, platform failure or events beyond our reasonable control. We will take reasonable steps to restore access but cannot promise uninterrupted availability.
8. Live sessions and recordings
Community live sessions are recorded and made available in the member library. Recordings have no fixed deletion date and may remain in the library indefinitely, subject to periodic review, legal obligations and data-protection rights.
You will be reminded when recording is taking place. You may keep your camera and microphone off, use a pseudonym, submit a written question or watch the recording later. By choosing to appear or speak, you understand that your contribution may be included in the recording and seen by current and future members.
Do not disclose another person’s full name, address, identifying details, court documents, medical information or private communications during a recorded session.
9. Member contributions
You retain ownership of original material you post. You give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, reproduce and moderate that material as needed to operate the community.
Contributions may remain under your visible community name or pseudonym after membership ends. You may request deletion by emailing [email protected]. We will respond in accordance with data-protection law, although limited information may be retained where required for legal, accounting, security or dispute purposes.
You are responsible for ensuring that your posts do not infringe another person’s privacy, confidentiality, intellectual property or legal rights.
10. Privacy and confidentiality
You must keep other members’ identities, stories, posts and questions confidential. You must not take screenshots, make recordings, copy posts or share community information outside the community without express permission.
We take reasonable steps to protect privacy, but we cannot guarantee that another member will comply. Tell us promptly if you believe information has been misused. Our handling of personal data is explained in the Community Privacy Policy.
11. Community conduct and moderation
You must follow the Community Guidelines. We may edit, hide or remove content and may warn, mute, suspend or remove a member where reasonably necessary to protect members, enforce these terms or meet legal and safeguarding obligations.
Serious breaches may lead to immediate removal. These include threats, harassment, hate speech, discriminatory conduct, deliberate privacy breaches, impersonation, coercion, promotion of violence, harmful or unlawful advice, sharing explicit material, or using the community to monitor or intimidate another person.
Where membership is ended because of a serious breach, no refund is due for the unused period unless required by law.
12. Monthly member prize
For each calendar month, a member who attends at least one live community session and posts at least one genuine question or comment between the first and final day of that month will be entered into a random draw.
The prize is one private 45-minute coaching session with Eve. The winner will be notified by email. The session must be booked and used within three months of the date the winner is notified.
The winner may use the session or gift it to another person aged 18 or over who needs support before, during or after separation or divorce. A recipient must agree to the applicable coaching terms before the session. The prize has no cash value, cannot be exchanged and is subject to appointment availability.
We may withhold or redraw a prize where eligibility cannot be verified, a membership is not in good standing, or there has been manipulation or abuse of the draw.
13. Member referral reward
A current member may receive a £20 Amazon gift card when a genuinely new member joins through their recommendation and remains a paid member for at least one full month.
The reward is issued after the first full month has been completed and payment has cleared. Self-referrals, duplicate accounts, cancelled or refunded memberships and fraudulent or misleading referrals do not qualify. There is no cash alternative. Amazon is not connected with, responsible for or a sponsor of this offer.
14. Intellectual property
The Dare to Speak name, courses, videos, recordings, downloads, frameworks, teaching materials, graphics and other provider content belong to Eve Stanway Coaching and Consulting Ltd or the relevant licensor. Membership gives you a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use them while your membership is active.
15. Liability
We do not exclude or limit liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory consumer rights.
Subject to that, we are responsible only for loss that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms or failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for decisions made by members, statements or conduct of other members, third-party professional services, or losses caused by events outside our reasonable control.
The community is supplied for personal use. We are not liable for business losses, loss of profit, loss of opportunity or interruption to business activity.
16. Ending or suspending the community
We may suspend or end the community where necessary for legal, safety, operational or commercial reasons. If we end the service without replacing it, we will give reasonable notice where possible and refund any prepaid amount relating to a period after access ends, unless the law allows otherwise.
17. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms to reflect changes in the service, law, technology or community safety. Updated terms will be published on https://evestanway.co.uk.
We will notify members of material changes by email or inside the community before they take effect. Where a change materially disadvantages you, you may cancel before it takes effect. Continued membership after the effective date means the updated terms apply.
18. Complaints and disputes
Please send questions or complaints to [email protected]. We will try to resolve concerns fairly and promptly.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Coaching and psychotherapy services are provided under UK jurisdiction and are insured within the United Kingdom. Disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer right to bring a claim in another applicable UK jurisdiction.
19. General terms
If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, the remaining terms continue. A delay in enforcing a right does not waive it. No person other than you and Eve Stanway Coaching and Consulting Ltd has rights under this contract, except a valid recipient of a gifted prize only to the extent required to receive it.
